Backup your data!
The beginning of the new year is a great time to think about annual backups. “Annual backups? What are those?” No worries. We’re going to explore what annual backups are and how they differ from regular backups.

First we need to reiterate why backups are so important. Data lost is a most fearsome trouble. Its up with catastrophes such as losing you wallet, finding out that your dog ate your wedding photo, and that your not going to get those flat abs you were hoping for.
But seriously folks, there are two types of backups to consider. First, an “incremential” backup that saves your most recent data. Time Machine from Apple does a great job of this. But what I want to focus on is the second type of backup: a complete yearly backup. This type of backup is also known as a “full” backup.
