Accessing Email

Prerequisites

In order to access your email, you’ll need to have your website hosted with LaGrecaArts, in the “Decaf” plan. You’ll also need to set up email accounts using the control panel interface. If you’re unsure on how to set up an email account, we can set up your accounts for a small fee.

Logging In

To log into web interface for email, simply enter http://:2095. So if your domain name is www.lagrecaarts.com, you would log in to webmail by going to http://www.lagrecaarts.com:2095. (If you would like an address that’s easier to remember, such as http://webmail.lagrecaarts.com, please contact us and we can set this up).

When you enter the address, you’ll be prompted to log in. Enter your full email address and password. Remember that passwords are case sensitive.

Once you’re logged in you will see a web page similar to the one above. From this screen you can:

• Log in your mail account using any one of the three readers: Horde, SquirrelMail, or Round Cube. We suggest you use RoundCube as it is the most up-to-date email reader.
• Automatically forward your email to another address using the Forwarding Options.
• Configure your email software using the Configure Mail Client icon. Note, you may need to verify and manually change the following settings in your email client:
  • SMTP (outgoing) port to 2525.
  • POP (Incoming) port to 110.
  • SMTP authentication to “password.” Use the same username (<name>@<domain>)and password as your login username and password.

If you don’t have an email client, we suggest downloading Mozilla’s Thunderbird at www.mozilla.com

Using Roundcube
