Example 1 - St. Andrew’s Church bulletin
This project entailed a redesign of St. Andrew’s weekly bulletin. As you can see from the “after” version, the layout was simplified, visually organized, and made more appealing with the inclusion of a sketched image of the church.
What you don’t see is the process that went into the redesign. The entire staff was involved — from start to finish. Our initial steps included the tasks of collecting dozens of bulletins and analyzing the layouts for what we liked. I then guided the team to take apart and analyze these “best ofs” for the concepts that we could apply to our new bulletin. We also brainstormed and prioritized the chunks of content to include. In the end, the staff and larger community was proud of the new bulletin.
